Choosing a Facility
All of our facilities have been created with an intentional design. We have developed a non-threatening environment with an appealing atmosphere. Our patients work very hard and we want to do all we can to facilitate a positive experience. Whether it is the enchanting paintings on the walls or the creative activity that is used to accomplish the daily treatment, we believe the details make the difference.
The treatment rooms in each facility range from a high-energy gym to a soft-colored, quiet and private room.
Each facility features a simulated apartment area specifically designed for our patients who require special training in home living skills.
Regardless of which facility you choose, you will find the same quality and commitment; yet, each location has its own unique personality due to the diversity in our professional staff. If you are looking for a particular treatment option, chances are it will be featured at one of our clinics.
Our innovative continuing education committee is committed to capturing our shared knowledge between facilities, eventually allowing all programs to be offered companywide regardless of which location you choose.
Clinton
Comprehensive Rehab was founded in Clinton, Iowa in April of 2001. Since that time we have grown and expanded to a new facility and added new services.
Our 15,000 square foot building provides a full range of treatment location options including therapy pool, sound-proof room which is utilized for numerous cognitive activities, splinting room for fabricating assistive equipment, two private treatment rooms with viewing windows, a feeding room fully equipped for feed team evaluations and treatments, a fully functional simulated apartment, private treatment room to promote bonding, double treatment room for adult patients, low stimulation room, high stimulation room, large gym, and an orthopedic adult gym.
Each treatment area is equipped with dimming lights, swing apparatus, and state-of-the-art equipment. This location also has a family resource room fully equipped with resource materials for patients and families.
The Clinton facility is considered our home office and is where our administrative staff is located. This is also our training facility. All of our new staff is trained in our treatment philosophy at our Clinton site prior to reporting to their home facility. This offers our Clinton patients a unique opportunity to benefit from the expertise of multiple professionals.
Davenport
The Davenport clinic opened in August of 2006. Our facility is over 4000 square feet and features four private treatment rooms, simulated apartment, 1000 square-foot gym area, and a conference area. Each treatment area is equipped with dimming lights, swing apparatus, and state-of-the-art equipment. This facility is conveniently located next to Trinity Hospital in Davenport, Iowa, just off Interstate I-74. Not only does this facility offer you the special attention of a small clinic but also the expertise of many professionals due to the association with two other clinics.
Muscatine
The Muscatine clinic was Comprehensive Rehab’s first satellite location which opened in November of 2004. In February 2008, we expanded into a larger facility of 4500 square feet. Our Muscatine location now offers additional private treatment rooms, a large gym, a fully-functional simulated apartment for activities of daily living skills, and a family resource/conference room. Each treatment area is equipped with dimming lights, swing apparatus, and state-of-the-art equipment. This facility, like our Davenport location, offers the comfort of a small clinic with the expertise of many professionals due to the association with the two other clinics. Our new location is now open!
